DEVB TC(W) No. 8/2025, Annex A 7.5.1(iv)

DWSS cleansing inspection checklists module

The Cleansing Inspection Checklists module is the fourth mandatory DWSS module in DEVB TC(W) No. 8/2025 (Annex A 7.5.1(iv)). It holds the daily and weekly cleansing checklists and the cleanliness performance record, with photos taken at work locations. Kodifly delivers it in SpatialSense.

What the module covers

Annex A 7.5.1(iv)(a) says the Site Cleanliness Records include a Daily Cleansing Inspection Checklist, a Weekly Cleansing Inspection Checklist and a Cleanliness Performance Record. Together they record the works done to keep the site clean and tidy and the contractor's performance, with reference to ETWB TC(W) No. 22/2003 and 22/2003A.

The checklists and the photographs taken at various work locations must be recorded so that site cleanliness can be monitored (7.5.1(iv)(b)). In the DWSS filing format the records use the type code CIC, with sub-types DCI (daily) and WCI (weekly) (7.3.4).

What each checklist holds

Annex A 7.5.1(iv)(d) lists six items the form must be set up to record.

Record itemWhat the form holds
Who and whenDate, time, and the names of reporting officers and responsible persons
WhereWork location
WhatDescription of the works
EvidenceRecord photos before and after inspection
FindingsLogging of non-compliance and remedial works
CycleRelationships kept across the whole inspection and non-compliance report cycle

Workflow and who signs

Annex A 7.5.1(iv)(c) sets four stages. The workflow agreed with the employer's representative, within six weeks of commencement, names the people (7.4.4).

  1. Submit

The inspecting officer completes the daily or weekly checklist with photos on the app or browser (7.4.5).

  2. Review

The reviewer is notified through the workflow (7.1.3).

  3. Confirm

The responsible party confirms findings and remedial works, and each action is time-stamped (7.3.8).

  4. Complete

The inspection closes when the cycle is done. The record is locked (7.3.7).

Statistics the module must show

Annex A 7.5.1(iv)(e) lists three statistics. The DSR (section 4.6) sets what goes to iCWP.

Annex A statisticWhat iCWP receives (DSR 4.6)
Completed, incomplete and outstanding inspectionsNumber completed and incomplete in a period
Non-compliance reportsNumber of non-compliance records in a period

Process time, not in the Annex A listAverage elapsed time of cleansing inspection records
